What is Our Product? 

You will be writing a 3-page paper on a topic of your choice. I would like to see something much more current, so we are using Gale Opposing Viewpoints in the Databases of MackinVIA. 

First assignmentTopic Selection: Submit the topic that you want to write about. (Past Due

Second Assignment - NoodleTools Integration – Be signed in to NoodleToolos and link to your class’ inbox. (May 3 and 4

Third Assignment – Noodle Tools Notetaking: Utilizing your shiny NoodleTools account, find two resources that you want to write about. Begin taking notes about your topic. Break down your research in a triad like Ms. Baker suggested (History of topic, current issues with it, and possible solutions, for example). I would like to see some of those highlighted notes in your NoodleTools account. This isn’t something you need to submit – I will be checking these as we go. :-)  (May 5-10) 

Fourth AssignmentResearching and compiling: You are going to begin constructing your paper. Utilizing your research, your quotes, and your VOICE, begin to write your paper. This will be something you work on for a week or so. If you require help, please let me know. Once your paper is done, turn in. You do NOT have to wait for the deadline. (May 5-18

Fifth AssignmentYou will take your information and construct an Infographic. We will get more into this as assignments finish. (Time Permitting

Final Assignment is due May 17th-18th. Late papers will be docked points. Please make sure that you have all of the parts for the paper.  

What parts should there be? Paper itself (3-page, double spaced, 11 pt. Calibri Font, Normal margins) plus a Work Cited Page. This is an MLA paper, so follow those writing style guides. If we get the time, we will be doing an Infographic that will be included and is separate from the page count.
